animated short filmStaring at a blank page , a draftsman finds his focus onn work begins to drift and with it, his imagination Soon the page becomes a cinema scree for his meanndering thoughts which are realised before our very own eyes. Commencing as a series of vague ideas which morph from one to the next , a narrative quickly develops and his own movie begins to play out. As the tale gains momentum , the more visually ennriched it becomes until reaching the climactic finale. Unfortunatelyhis happy ending is cut short by an act of clumsiness ...
Paperdaydream is an animated short film directed by Jun Iwakawa and produced by me. It played at many festivals around the world . It won the category Best Design at the Animation Block Party in NYC, was the winner of the Grand Jury Award at WIFF Washington DC, selected for “Best of British” at Encounters Film Festival, Bristol, London Short Film Festival, Cutout Mexiko and Linoleum, Russia
